Poetry: The Predominant Hue

Snow falls pristine on carpets of brown,Covering the naked melancholy treesin robes of white.A leaden sky fades into brilliant blue,The gray scene into dazzling light. So is the difference Christ Jesus makes in our lives,As He covers our sin, making life fresh and new.The black despair fades in the light of His smile,The white light of peace, the predominant hue.You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you: because he trusts in you. Isaiah 26:3Lord, when times of despair come, help me turn to you. Amen.By Carolyn R ScheidiesFrom Journey of Faith(Print & Kindle versions available)
