Poetry His Helping Hand

You have also given me the shield of Your salvation:and Your right hand has held me up,and Your gentleness has made me great. You have enlarged my steps under me,that my feet did not slip. Psalm 18:35-36Though stress slashes the day,Seeking to trip us along our way,Our Lord holds out a steadying hand,Frustration, temptations to help us withstand. As I struggle through each day,I'll cling tightly to Him along the way,Trusting Christ to lead, defend,To guide and keep me until the end.Sometimes when I pray, it seems my prayers go no higher than my head. Help me, Lord, cling to Your promises even in the dark timesof frustration, sorrow, pain, and confusion. Amen.By Carolyn R ScheidiesFrom Journey of FaithKindle version available. NO hardback!
