Devotion: The Bible—God's Letter of Life, Hope and Love

Sometimes life doesn't go the way we want it to. Bad, even awful things happen. Life happens—good and bad. Sometimes what happens is due to our own choices and sometimes things that happen are beyond our control. Hard to then believe in a God that sees and yet seems to do nothing to change bad circumstances. We question. Does God exist? How could a loving God allow such evil. But if we believe in evil, then we also believe the opposite— that good really does exist. That good is embodied in God who created us, loves us and wants to have a relationship with us.Often we don't understand because we've never delved into the book He gave us. The Bible is so much more than a list of do's and don'ts. It is a personal message of hope for you and me.Take the time to learn about this God who loves you right now—just as you are.Message Of LoveAs precious as is each individual life,The God of all spurned not to give,His own on Calvary that you and Imight ever live. For God so loved the worldthat he gavehis only begotten Son,that whosoever (this means YOU)believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the worldto condemn the world (YOU),but that the world (YOU)through him might be saved.
