Does Fiction Have a Place In Christian Writing?

Matthew 13:34 GW Jesus used illustrations to tell the crowds all these things. He did not tell them anything without illustrating it with a story.

Those who look down on stories don't understand. Jesus explained principles with stories. Why? Because non-fiction informs and explains and lays out principles, but fiction or stories show. They are the practical application of principle.

We need stories both true as in life experiences and fiction to illustrate God's principles.

Christians, including  authors, pastors and Christian leaders, shouldn't be afraid of or dismiss  a technique Jesus used so effectively.
