an evangelical faith or are generally inspirational without offending those who hold this viewpoint.

Each month books are selected for review. Not all books will make it each month onto this site. But,
each book reviewed will be read and evaluated carefully. (We do not do reviews on partial manuscripts.)
This is not the site to find either long flowery reviews or reviews that tear apart not only a book, but also
the author.
These reviews will strive to be fair, mostly positive, and honest.

This
site seeks to give reading options that entertain, encourage, inform and stretch, while appealing to a Christian conservative
audience.
I will accept email attachment to
some degree, also printed Advance Review Copies--only after the author contacts me and I agree. I prefer the actual book that
will be on shelves. (Review books will not be returned whether or not a book is reviewed.)
Format:
Galleys ok as long as they are bound. Some E-books. Prefer print books.
Presentation IS important. If you are not sending the final work, but
a galley let us know. Reviews are based on what we’re given.
Guidelines: Audience--Christian
conservative--politically as well as spiritually. Fiction or non-fiction, any age group Clean books that you
would give to your mother, pastor/priest, daughter, son and have a take away value: message, entertainment, etc. Prefer
a Christian world view, but not preachy, though sweet, secular books fine. No profanity or obscenity, not using any form
of God's name as an expletive No new age or the condoning of occult practices (even in fun)
or equating other religions with Christianity NO premarital sex scenes.
When mailing a book, PLEASE include your name, address and email inside with the book. Thank you.

Most books used for reviews were complementary galleys or copies sent to ACR from publishers, publicists
or authors. There is never a garrantee of a review and many books sent do not fit our guidelines and are not reviewed. Books
sent are passed on to libraries, family, friends, etc.
