There is Hope
Mood:  a-ok
Topic: Eternity
Isaiah 60:20 GW Your sun will no longer go down, nor will your moon disappear. The LORD will be your everlasting light, and your days of sadness will be over.

No matter what happens here, if we cling to Jesus and trust Him, there will come a time when light replaces darkness, healing replaces pain, and joy replaces sorrow.

I grieve for those who have no hope, who believe this is all there is. Such people should make us sad, not angry and drive us closer to Jesus in prayer.

Thank You, Jesus, that there is more, there is hope. Show me how best to share Your hope with others. Amen.

Will I?
Mood:  a-ok
Topic: Eternity
I Thess. 4:16-18 GW The Lord will come from heaven with a command, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the dead who believed in Christ will come back to life.
Then, together with them, we who are still alive will be taken in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. In this way we will always be with the Lord.
So then, comfort each other with these words!

It is exciting to know this life is not all there is, that wrongs will be made right and those who trust and follow Jesus have a future with Him.

But the comfort of these words pre-supposes we have accepted Christ's gift of salvation, life in Him, and are daily walking with Him.

The questions: Have I? Am I? Will I?
